Change Charts
Example
The data given in this table comes from “Facts and Figures 2015” published by Zimstat. It shows the number of visitors arriving in Zimbabwe and the purpose of their visit.
If we subtract the 2014 figures from the 2015 figures it will show the change from 2014 to 2015, with a positive change indicating an increase and negative showing that there was a decrease. These values can be made into a simple horizontal bar chart with positives to the right and negatives to the left.
